An infusion of colour

There’s a lot to like about sleek and contemporary garden design. But perhaps sometimes it can lack a bit of va va voom? Perhaps in need of an infusion of colour and tradition to create an extra dimension? This is an idea I have, have not been able to try it out. But looking in design magazines it seems to me there’s an interest out there. I certainly think there’s room for further contemplation and experimentation. In my mind a good place to start is by adding planters. Here’s a few inspirational scenes.
