And so the new park opened. The one that I blathered on about the other week that is. Important people from the local authority will be there and meet and greet visitors. What is my verdict? Mainly that it’s a real pity that this park is not yet fully completed. There is still plenty of fencing up and I estimate there are will be several months before full access will be granted.
The playground (that is open) is pretty good though. I’m sure kids will have plenty of fun. I can’t see that many activities around for adults, however. How about, for example, some exercise machines? I’m really looking forward to some waterfront access. There are wooden platforms in sight, perfect for sunbathing, a picnic or people watching. When they will come into use is anyone’s guess. What’s that (Swedish proverb) – s/he who waits for something good never waits too long …
