On the outskirts of Marseille, near the Prado plages, you can find Musée Borély. A museum with focus on decorative arts (fashion, interiors and more), it has heaps of stunning and interesting exhibits to explore. I go whenever I’m in the area, which has happened rather a few times. The fancy floral interior decor seen in these pics are, as I understand it, part of the permanent exhibition. The odd head was used for “resting” the gigantic wigs used at the time (18th century). Nice touch to match it with the overall decor! A bedroom très charmant, the red and white colour combo provides for a very fresh and charming impression.
