  1. I really love when old meets new. There’s a real dynamism in the juxtapositioning. The Archimbuto in Venice is outside the design scope of most garden owners. But I reckon it highlights my point. in case you feel inspired this large portal is made of acid-finished Cor-ten steel. Designed by Milanese architect Cino Zucchi.
  2. Being made from glass I had this idea that Tavolino Liquefy designed by Patricia Urquiola for Glas Italia could work outdoors. I might be wrong, but regardless, this table is outstandingly cool.
  3. With CIRQL, Werner Aisslinger draws on DEDON’s unique hand-weaving heritage. Based on round, friendly shapes and a sophisticated geometric woven pattern, CIRQL manages to be both iconic and inviting. I like the combo of swirly shapes and woven pattern. Features at the Milan Design Week 2023.
  4. Botanical gardens are places of great interest. Because of the plants that are there, but also because of their design and individual features. Located among the paths of the Brera Botanical Garden, the installation “Walk the Talk – Moving Energy“, created by Italo Rota and CRA-Carlo Ratti Associati for Eni, transforms one of the most fascinating green spaces in Milan into a large table from living game. From 17-26/4-2023.
  5. Candles add a wonderful vibe to any party. This colourful selection puts a smile on my face. Inspiration found on theguardian.co.uk.
  6. Etro makes some fabulously high-end fabrics. Check out the latest outdoor creations on their website.
