GardenRoomStyle Moodboard – w17/2023
- Rugs outdoors. Rather a nice feeling. Hits home the message of the outdoor/indoor connection. Really like the rainbow pattern and pastel colour of this Shade outdoor rug made from 100% recycled PET. UV resistant. Available from dahlagenturer.se.
- What a groovy, chunky Atmosfera coffee table from Gubi! Made for the outdoors in top-quality teak. Appreciate the asymmetrical slatted top and L-shaped legs that rise slightly above it, adding a soft, rounded touch to the geometrical design.
- Round arbors have a different vibe about them. Make them from corten steel and you’ve got a different, modern look that will turn heads. Seen at containerwatergardens.net.
- Walked this bridge a few years ago. Rather sensational those bronze uprights forming the balustrade. So simple, yet so striking.. The Sackler Crossing in Kew Gardens, London is designed by John Pawson. Very inspirational.
- And on the subject of simplicity. Nothing much going on here but white and green. In my opinion it’s the structure of this orangery that speaks a loud lingo. May be found at the Palazzo dei Musei, Reggio Emilia forming part of Giardini in Europa e L’Architettura degli Alberi.
- Again the indoor/outdoor connection. Here carried out to perfection. Almost impossible to tell where to draw the line between the two. B&B Italia ad set in the Desert One House in Palm Springs, California, designed by Jim Jennings AIA in 2005
