GardenRoomStyle Moodboard -w48/2022

Last week of November and less than one month until the mighty Xmas. Garden design is perhaps not at the forefront of everyone’s mind right now. Nevertheless, here’s another GardenRoomStyle Moodboard – w48/2022. Containing glass art inspiration, a cheerful evergreen plant, an outdoor kitchen. And more.

  1. Tilt Outdoor Kitchen is a brilliant idea. Stylish too. The most basic model includes a premium stainless steel barbecue with a roasting hood and a stainless steel benchtop. When not in use the compact format becomes virtually inconspicuous when closing the shutter.
  2. Indoor winter gardens are this time of the year a real highlight. This one containing Restaurant Groenland in Driebergen, the Netherlands looks pretty good to me!
  3. I’m sure the first thing most people notice when looking at this photograph is the house. The Spaceship House created by Mary Gordon is definitely no ordinary abode. What strikes me here though are the perfect borders and path. Finely curvaceous they look almost surreal, close to fake.
  4. I might be going though a glass phase. Am just entranced by how it can reflect, absorb and give light. It would be nice to see more glass in garden design. Here’s outdoor glass art by SWOON as part of a waterfall feature.
  5. Hyacinths are my favourite Xmas blooms. They are so pretty and smell so fine. The more the better! Stay with one colour or indulge in them all. As I understand it, blue have most scent, followed by white and pink.
  6. Such a cute dwarf spruce! In spring new growth of Picea glauca var. albertiana ‘J.W. Daisy’s White‘ has a pale cream hue, hence the name white spruce. Otherwise evergreen it provides interest all year.
