The last week of 2022. How fast didn’t that come around? Well, I’m celebrating the end of the year down in the south of Spain. Because of fabulous weather most days are spent out and about. As I’ve mentioned before renting a bicycle is great for exploring. As is walking. Something that never stops to amaze me when looking around, in this case in Málaga, is the diversity in hard surfaces. The creativity is astonishing, so much fun and highly inspirational. On that note, I will dedicate the GardenRoomStyle Moodboard – w52/2022 to this topic.
GardenRoomStyle Moodboard – w52/2022
- Nothing much going on here but white straight and curved pavers and grey pointing. But the meandering/circular/straight pattern combo is timeless and stylish.
- This is mosaic in a large format. I find the slight rough around the edges choice of pieces/material rather cool.
- There’s certainly nothing rough with this paving comprising marble marquetry in various colours. Very stylish and I’m sure not cheap as it covers a large surface.
- Rock’n roll red and black wall tiles with an embossed psychadelic pattern. A strong 1970s vibe!
- More retro going on here. The pattern and colour scheme also oozes of the 1970s. Imagine an entire facade like this?!
- Not sure how to describe this pattern. Rectangular pavers in two colours with a dash of wave assembled in a simple stack-bond pattern. With a tad different result. Bat-like?
