The inspirational garden designs – w43/2022 moodboard features funky herringbone patterned flooring inside and out as well as floral overload maximalism. Green is again on the agenda, a mobile BBQ unit facilitates relocation and concrete planters with a touch of wood – good designs keep on coming.
- This an advertisement for the Ohlinda furniture collection from Bretz. The fabrics, trimmings, colours and patterns shown as well as the overall impression is sublime. But the setting, say no more! A Moroccan paradise with green herringbone patterned tiling matched by raspberry red wells. Add some exotic supersized plants and this is an indoor space you couldn’t get enough of.
- I’m currently taking a special interest in outdoor spaces featuring brick herringbone patterned hardscaping. This dark shade ticks a lot of style boxes. The bricks are 29 cm long and part of the Berlijn series for Galatan – klinkers van FORMAAT.
- I’ve been on a lot about green lately, a dark emerald kind of green. Here Paola Lenti is showing a vision of a tender, fresh, spring green hue. Very uplifting, not to mention inviting. This scene was a setup for the Milan Design Week in June, 2022.
- Maximalism, love it or not, but you can’t deny the impact. This decor is not meant for the outdoors, but it would certainly work well in an indoor green space. Florals overload. The seat is entitled ARABESK Double from MATRIX and designed by Simone Guidarelli. Not sure about the origin of the wallpaper.
- I’ve seen these large Soma planters IRL. And they look just as good then as in this image. Reinforced concrete and wood work well together. Design Laurie Wiid van Heerden.
- The Big Green Egg is a super trendy BBQ. Highly stylish and with a different design it stands out. Here it combines with a mobile storage/worktop unit from het buiten atelier. Very handy utility with a smart appearance. Comes in black and natural wood.
