Pastel colours are uplifting for the spirits
Pastel colours are soft tones of colour made by mixing a significant amount of white into the original shade. They provide a clean, delicate and soothing impression and are often associated with a young vibe. I’d also like to think pastel colours are charming, uplifting and oozing of positivity. This set of outdoor furniture has seen far better days, yet their colours put a smile on my face. Even on a crispy winter’s day. I almost forgot the weather – my mind quickly rewinding to a warmer, more inviting outdoor clime. Rather sad seeing their state. Positioned outside an office, management would do employees a great favour updating the furniture, but retaining the colour scheme. To reiterate – there’s no doubt pastel colours are uplifting for the spirits.

Pink, mauve, and baby blue are commonly used pastel colours, as well as mint green, peach, yellow, periwinkle, and lavender. Some of them could be seen in this outdoor space.
