Just when everything was going rather sweet. Lighter by the day. Temperatures normal for the time of the year. Then, oh yes, then, there was return of winter. It all started with an icy northerly wind, which was bad enough. Then came the snow. Not just a few flighty flakes, but droves. And temperatures headed south down to around -7 C. Needless to say, when looking around, it was easy to think I’d been sent back in time a few months. Such a pity.
Return of winter.
On a positive note, no need to feel guilty about staying indoors. Perhaps sitting back and check out pics submitted to the International garden photographer of the year competition. Well done to yous!
