I’m on the lookout for new deckchairs for my terrace. I have a vision of a stylish rather low wooden foldable chair with armrests. No too much of a recline and at a decent price. Can’t say that I’ve so far been very successful in my mission. Had no idea this was going to be so difficult! Below are a couple of ones that I’ve so far taken a second look at. Perhaps I need to cross one or two criterias of my wishlist? Or why not make one or two by myself? Or just keep on looking …
The classic-style director chair is never wrong. It’s cool and folds away neatly. But right now, don’t think this is quite what I’m looking for.

This chair is almost exactly what I’m looking for. Only two problems here. Firstly, it might be made from wood but not meant for the outdoors. Secondly it’s not foldable. Real pity!
