  1. It’s true. At least in theory, weather allowing, life is moving outdoors. And what better thing to do than set a fine table, put on some grand entertainment and just rejoice? I think it’s a good idea. Even better, it’s a good looking idea! This tablescaping scene has been been set by Juliska.
  2. I’ve got a thing for azulejos, aka Islamic inspired tiles found in Spain. In this instance they form part of a fountain found at Highgrove House, UK. Designed according to The Prince’s favourite Turkish carpet and all. If I was in the neighbourhood I would most definitely go and admire.
  3. Does this look like your average outdoor chair? Not to me. D 154.2 is one of Gio Ponti’s most iconic and representative pieces, designed in 1954 for the Planchart collectors’ villa in Caracas (1953-57). It’s now available in an outdoor version. Cool!
  4. A mushroom as a fancy sculpture? Why not? Mushroom Autowave Rich-Gold Petzold silber F14 (2008), created by Sylvie Fleury is coated in metallic automobile paint creating an exclusive and luxurious look.
  5. Is wallpaper outdoors a good idea? Apparently so, although best applied by professionals. This one, Grand Ribaud from wallanddeco.com, comes with a 5 year colour fading warranty and a 10 year adhesion strength warranty.
  6. So sleek, so teak. Böste is a contemporary, Scandinavian interpretation of the classic Adirondack chair. In stainless steel and durable FSC-labeled teak. From skargaarden.com.
